coACTION Coaching Page 6/8 June 2025  Democratic Empowerment Plan : Based on the insights from the first coACTION Sensor, your school develops a concrete implementation plan for its democratic initiatives and measures. Coaches support you in developing this plan by advising, pointing out possible strategies, and helping with structuring and goal setting. In this phase planned meetings take place at regular intervals (e.g., quarterly) - regardless of specific milestones. Here, current progress is discussed, experiences are exchanged, successes are acknowledged, and any adjustments are made.  coACTION Sensor Repetition : At the end of the current school year, the coACTION Sensor is conducted again. The goal is to determine the extent to which the implemented measures have taken hold and how the school has further developed in its democratic understanding and behaviour – especially with regard to the involvement of the "whole school community." Good support from the coaches is crucial here as well to interpret the results and make progress visible.  coACTION Project Report - finalization of coACTION Diary : At the end of the "Year of Democracy," your school creates a final report on your experiences and results based on the coACTION Diary. We coaches support you in summarizing the progress made, reflecting on the learnings, and deriving recommendations for the future. International Exchange: Learning and Growing Together Beyond the individual support from our coaches, we place great value on international exchange among participating schools. With each milestone, we'll offer you the opportunity to connect internationally and benefit from each other's experiences. This is a unique chance for the 10 participating schools from the four partner countries (Austria, Greece, Portugal and Spain) to get to know each other and openly discuss their experiences with the coACTION Sensor, the coACTION Treasury, the Diary, and all other coACTION products. This exchange isn't just about mutual learning and enrichment; it also offers a unique opportunity to discover commonalities in the challenges and questions schools face in democratic development across different countries. Through this shared understanding, we hope to collectively find inspiration and innovative solutions!
